Carson's Construction Party: Part 2

I generally prefer to host parties at home, but this year we decided that we didn't have enough room in our tiny little house to accommodate all of our guests. A party at Carson's favorite park seemed like the perfect alternative. Carson's "construction worker" buddies had a great time playing on the play structure and splashing in the fountain! Here are a few snap shots of the fun!

LOVE this picture! Don't they look like little men on their lunch break?? Too cute!

Carson's Construction Party!

I can't believe that my sweet little boy is 3! Where has the time gone? I had such a great time planning Carson's 3rd birthday party and I can't wait to share it with you! For quite a while now Carson has loved anything that has to do with construction. So I wasn't surprised when several months before his birthday, he started talking about wanting an "excavator" themed birthday party. It wasn't long before I was in full party planning mode. Here are a few pictures from the big day!  I hope you enjoy them!

Here is the invitation we sent out.

I was very lucky to have Randi from Experience Photography capture the party details.

I found these bubbles at Target for $1! I just took off the store label, made a label of my own, and added a thank you tag. The kids loved them and I thought they looked really cute!

Push up pops are all the rage right now. I found the empty containers HERE and filled them with orange m&ms.

I found these cute candy tubes at Bliss Bake Shop  in Bethany. Lisa from Fancy That set up an adorable retail party shop there. This is just one of the many fabulous ideas I saw. I filled them with orange jelly bellies.

My sister made these adorable number three cookies.

I found these super cute construction cone cups at Birthday Express. They were a huge hit!

One of my favorite features was the kids table. Each place setting was complete with a construction vest, construction hat, personalized place mat, water bottle with matching label and boxed lunch. The kids looked so cute sitting at their own table dressed up in their construction gear.

The kids' lunches included a croissant sandwich, goldfish crackers, string cheese, applesauce and a little bottle of water.

The birthday boy!

It was such a perfect day! Thank you to everyone who was able to join us! A special thank you to my wonderful sister for helping with all of the yummy baked goods and the party set up. You are the best!
