Teacher Gift Idea

Coming up with a cute and meaningful teacher gift is always tough! I decided to do a small post on the gift we made for Carson's preschool teacher this year. I hope you enjoy it! :-)

I started by individually wrapping cookies that I bought from a local bakery.

Next, I interviewed Carson about why he loves his preschool teacher, Mrs. Manning. I then typed his answers on stickers and used the stickers to seal the cookie bags.

I also made a sticker with the interview question on it and attached it to the inside of the gift box.

And that's it! It was a great way to get Carson involved in the gift while still making it something special (and yummy) for the teacher! :-)

Audrey's Candy Shoppe Party!

My cousin's little girl Audrey just turned two!  I was thrilled to work on a fun party theme for her again this year. Since she lives in Nebraska I wasn't able to be there, but I was so excited to see the photos from her special day. Isn't she the cutest?

Great job Brandy! Happy Birthday Audrey!
Check out Kaedynce's party for more Candy Shoppe ideas and decor!

Michelle's Baby Shower!

I am lucky enough to have a wonderful group of friends that I see on a regular basis from my college sorority. We always get together to celebrate the events that come up in each others lives... especially babies! My friend Michelle just had a beautiful baby girl named Annie. We got together a few days before Annie was born to give her a small, but very heart felt, shower. Here are a few pictures of the festivities! :-)

Kaedynce's Candy Shoppe Party!

I just love the Candy Shoppe theme idea and was thrilled to work with Megan Green from Polka Dot Junkie on her daughter's first birthday party. Megan did a great job with all of the party details.  I hope you enjoy the pictures as much as I do!

Happy 1st Birthday Kaedynce!

Happy Halloween!

I had the best time putting together a Halloween celebration for my 3 year old and his friends. Here are some pictures of the fun!

Aren't these tissue paper poms fun? I will be posting a tutorial on how to make them in the near future! Stay tuned! :-)

I love finding ways to make the kids' lunches more fun. I found these adorable polka dot boxes at Polka Dot Market.  I found the idea for the ghost juice boxes at Domestic Charm. So cute and a big hit with the kids!

We decided to have the kids decorate their own cupcakes this year. I was actually surprised how smoothly this activity went. Most of them wouldn't spare a single sprinkle so my kitchen table stayed fairly clean. :-)

"Pin the Nose on the Jack-o-Lantern"

Costume Parade!

After the parade the kids practiced trick-or-treating at the door. The kids loved knocking on the door, saying trick-or-treat and remembering to say "Thank you!" The prizes were a hit too! :-)

I hope you all have a happy and safe Halloween!
